The Hoya Carnosa Chelsea is a climbing plant that features long, trailing vines covered in thick, glossy, and waxy leaves. The leaves are typically oval-shaped and grow opposite each other on the stem. The foliage of the Chelsea variety is particularly noteworthy, as it showcases variegated coloration. The leaves are predominantly dark green, with creamy-white or pale yellow variegation, creating a striking contrast.
