Rare - Hoya Black Dragon

Hoya Pubicalyx Black Dragon, often referred to as Hoya "Black Dragon." The leaves of Hoya Black Dragon are oval-shaped, leathery, and have a glossy texture. 

What sets Hoya Black Dragon apart is the striking coloration of its new growth. As the leaves emerge, they are a deep maroon or dark purple, creating a beautiful contrast against the mature green foliage. This coloration adds depth and dimension to the plant.

The blooms emerge from the trailing stems and are composed of numerous star-shaped florets. The individual flowers have a waxy texture and are typically maroon or dark purple in color, matching the hues of the new growth. 

Hoya Pubicalyx Black Dragon thrives in bright, indirect light. It benefits from bright, filtered sunlight rather than direct sunlight, especially during the intense midday hours. A few hours of direct morning sunlight or bright, indirect light throughout the day is generally sufficient to meet its light requirements. Under lower light conditions, the new growth may exhibit less pronounced maroon or purple hues, while brighter light can enhance the deep coloration.
